The ENPAC Poly-Dolly is helping to minimize pollution at the British Antarctic Survey's (BAS) stations in Antarctica. Fuel for snowmobiles and inshore inflatables used by the scientists is supplied in 55 Gallon drums. Previously, drums were stored on wooden trestles at refueling points, but now they are loaded onto the Poly-Dollys for storage and dispensing, meaning that any spills or leaks are contained, preventing ground pollution.
